From Nairobi, the capital, safaris visit the Maasai Mara Reserve, known for its annual wildebeest migrations, and Amboseli National Park, offering views of Tanzania's 5,895m Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Tanzania

Tanzania is an East African country known for its vast wilderness areas. They include the plains of Serengeti National Park, a safari mecca populated by the “big five” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino), and Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa’s highest mountain. Offshore lie the tropical islands of Zanzibar, with Arabic influences, and Mafia, with a marine park home to whale sharks and coral reefs.

Nairobi – Transfer to Lake Nakuru: 170 Kms approx. 3hrs drive
  • You will be picked from airport and immediately depart for Lake Nakuru which is 3 hours away. Once you arrive have a short game drive as you head to the lodge for Check

After breakfast, time free at leisure, Relax by the pool area after lunch and later have a game drive at 4p.m. You will meet great masses of Flamingos not forgetting the endangered white and black rhino found in this park among many other wildlife including the rest of ‘Big Five.’ Overnight at lodge

Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. You will have a game drive as you head to the camp for lunch. Another game drive will be at 4p.m. Look out for Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo.

These 2 days will be spent with morning and afternoon game drives that lead one to some of Africa's largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas. In between game drives, you will have picnic lunch on the banks of Mara River.

Maasai Mara – Transfer to Musoma (Tanzania)

Have breakfast then depart for Musoma passing through Isebania border. You will arrive at lunch time. The rest of the day is spent relaxing.

Depart for Serengeti after breakfast. You will arrive before lunch time. Check in and later have lunch. Game drive is at 4o’clock.

Serengeti - Transfer to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater passing through Olduvai Gorge. Enjoy an introductory game drive as you arrive at the crater as you head to the lodge. There will be no other game drive so spend the remaining hours at leisure enjoying walking around the surrounding areas and exploring the lodge’s facilities.

Serengeti - Transfer to Ngorongoro

Lake Manyara – Transfer to Zanzibar (By flight)

Have breakfast then depart for Arusha to arrive before lunch. Have lunch in Arusha before being dropped at the airport for a flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to the hotel.
