South Africa is a country on the southernmost tip of the African continent, marked by several distinct ecosystems. Inland safari destination Kruger National Park is populated by big game. The Western Cape offers beaches, lush winelands around Stellenbosch and Paarl, craggy cliffs at the Cape of Good Hope, forest and lagoons along the Garden Route, and the city of Cape Town, beneath flat-topped Table Mountain.

South Africa has a lovely temperate climate with plenty of sunny, dry days. The main factors influencing conditions are altitude and the surrounding oceans. Temperatures drop by about 6°C for every 1000m you climb (or 3.5°F per 1000ft). The east coast is on the Indian Ocean, which has a warm current.

Cape Point SUP & Hike Tour - The coolest adventures with Cape Town's Coolest Adventurers. It's your day and your adventure and your time! This completely private adventure starts with a SUP in the waterfront, Hike in Kalk Bay, SUP near penguins and explore the Cape of Good Hope in style and with adventure equipment. The aim of the day is to explore the highlights of the Cape Peninsula looking for any excuse to embrace the ocean and explore one of the most unique marine habitats in the world. The day starts in the safe canals of the V&A Waterfront where we first learn to SUP and gain confidence, before heading to the working fishing harbour of Kalk Bay In Kalk Bay we meet the colourful and entertaining fishing folk. Browse the bohemian and arty shops, or the harbour, do a short hike through what feels like a ‘pixie and fairy’ Milkwood forest and enjoy lunch. We head to Simon’s Town where we will find our own rogue Penguins on a secret beach only accessible to the locals. We will snorkel in swimming pool sized rock pools, paddle our SUP’s and get a unique up close perspective of the Penguins. We then head to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where we explore deeper into the reserve, seeking deserted wild beaches. We return back to Cape Town city centre via the beautiful and dramatic Atlantic coastline. The amazing views, hidden local cafes and water holes may be the glorious finish to an epic day of Cape adventures. Perhaps even a sundowner (or two)?

Harley Davidson Tour - There is nothing like the throaty grunt of a Harley Davidson to get the adrenalin flowing and to fire the spirit of adventure. Think Easy Rider, think Peter Fonda and Jack Nicholson. Wild and Free. Explore the beautiful cape scenery on one of the most iconic motorcycles ever made. It’s more than a motorbike tour, it’s a declaration of freedom. Leather tassels on your sleeves are optional.

SHARK CAGE DIVING - The shark cage dive takes place out at Dyer Island, roughly 15 minutes by boat from Gansbaai. The island is home to a colony of over 50 000 Cape Fur Seals – the white shark’s favourite food and primary source of nutrition. Running between Dyer and neighbouring Geyser Rock is a channel of ocean so frequented by great white sharks that it has been dubbed ‘Shark Alley’. This is where we anchor for an up-close encounter with great whites. The cage is dropped at the diving site and guests are allocated diving gear. Guests take consecutive turns in the eight-man floating cage to experience thrilling underwater views of this majestic apex predator. When not in the cage, passengers can enjoy sightings of the white sharks and other sea life from the viewing deck of the boat. The great white shark is a surface feeder and thus all the activity takes place on or very close to the surface, so surface viewing from the boat is excellent. We have a 95 – 98% sightings success rate across the year, although as with all wildlife, sightings can never be guaranteed.

Sky Diving - If you just want to try parachuting, you can do a static line jump, or you can opt for a tandem skydive, where you experience about 40 seconds of adrenaline-pumping free fall before you float down to the earth attached to a qualified tandem jump master.

Or get serious and learn to skydive, either by the old school method of progressing from static line, or through an accelerated free fall (AFF) course. The drop zone is just a short drive from Cape Town so you have a fabulous view of Table Mountain while ascending in the jump plane, and while floating to earth under your parachute.
